2012 CR-Z Performance
Available in two trims, Base and EX, the 2012 Honda CR-Z sports a 1.5L gasoline/electric hybrid engine that delivers brisk acceleration in addition to 122 horsepower. It is also the only hybrid with a manual transmission (6-speed), which provides crisp shifting. An automatic transmission is also available. This vehicle is perfect for long drives and inner-city commutes. Honda offers a 3-mode system that customizes the CR-Z's driving experience depending on the driver's needs. Select the Econ Mode for increased fuel efficiency, Normal Mode for a balanced ride, or Sport Mode for a responsive, custom driving experience. Manual transmission models get an EPA-estimated 31 city/37 hwy MPG rating, while automatic transmission models get an increased 35 city/39 hwy MPG rating [1]. |

2012 CR-Z Standard Features and Options
Rich in heritage, the CR-Z comes standard with creature comforts like automatic climate control with air filtration, tilt and telescopic steering column with steering wheel-mounted controls, power windows and locks, and rear window defroster on the inside, as well as exterior features like body-colored folding power side mirrors with integrated turn indicators, LED brake lights and projector-beam halogen headlights. The CR-Z also features a niftily-designed rear cargo console that allows you to store items out of sight or fold it down to store longer items like golf clubs and surfboards. Bluetooth also comes standard on every EX model, allowing you to make and receive phone calls using voice commands. Add the available navigation system and never be lost again.
The base CR-Z gets a standard AM/FM/CD audio system with Auxiliary input jack. It also comes with a USB port that allows you to directly connect and control any number of audio devices. However, it is the EX trim that will really rock your socks off with its premium 360-watt, 7-speaker audio system with 8" subwoofer. |
